GAH!! today was insanely boring!!! we were pretty much trapped in the house! lol
Damn county council was digging to put pipes down.. so of course the found the need to dig this massive trench across the driveway!! only filling it up at 3 so dad could go fetch mom from work!! now we have a digger on out lawn! Random!!
and boring!

And in 1976, a swine flu outbreak in Fort Dix, New Jersey, caused more than 200 illnesses and one death............... What's the freak out about?!?! it's nothing new!!?!?!?!
Every year in the US, between five to 20 percent of us are infected with the old-fashioned flu; 200,000 of us end up in the hospital; and around 36,000 of us die. ..... hmmmm so this is less fatal than normal flu!?!
............ so far only mexicans have died from this thinga majig.. and i'm guessing the hospitals and medicines there aren't exactly the best.... so why exactly are people freaking out so much!!?
Not saying it's nothing.. but is it as bad as people make it out to be?!?! i think it's just like this "recession" it's all media!! we have a mediated pandemic alert!

personally i think the reason people are freaking out is because of how contagious it is, the numbers you quoted for normal flu, scale those numbers up to everyone catching it and that percentage dying as with normal flu, that would be baaaad news (or should that be OOOOiink news??)i think with how good most countries seem to be at quarantining people it is turning into nothing. nyhew just from watching the flutracker it seems more contagious than normal flu where even people who arent run down are catching it. so to sum up:P i think this 'pandemic' might be the thing we all need to get our tushies ready for the real deal! *shrug* just my 2 cents!
